AGP plans to expand plant

By | October 01, 2005
Ag Processing Inc. (AGP) is planning another expansion to its Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, biodiesel facility. The plant, which more than doubled in capacity recently, would be expanded to more than 20 mmgy. The construction project will involve the addition of new infrastructure, process equipment and additional storage tanks intended to improve plant efficiencies, enhance market flexibility and increase production. AGP Vice President John Campbell said the permit application process has begun, and completion of the expansion is expected in 12 to 18 months.
