CDTI appoints Copan as new VP, CTO
Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. (CDTI), a developer of diesel emissions-reducing products like fuel-borne catalysts and urea injection systems for selective catalytic reduction of NOx, announced its appointment of Walter Copan to the position of CDTI's vice president and chief technology officer (CTO).
Copan has extensive experience in related fields. He most recently served with Golden, Colo.-based NREL as principle licensing executive of technology transfer, where he was responsible for partnering with industry, government and research circles to commercialize clean energy and energy efficiency. Before that, Copan spent 28 years with Lubrizol Corp., at which his most recent post was managing director of technology transfer.
