By | October 16, 2007
Nova Biosource Fuels Inc. has acquired Clinton County Bio Energy LLC, a 10 MMgy biodiesel plant in Clinton, Iowa, which Nova designed and built. The company plans to install its pretreatment process to the facility to enable the use of lower-quality fats. A 20 MMgy expansion project is also being developed. In other company news, Nova announced that its subsidiary Nova Biofuels Trade Group has contracted ConAgra Trade Group to market Nova's 50 percent share of biodiesel production from Scott Petroleum Corp., a 20 MMgy plant in Greenville, Miss.
