Legacy Oil signs feedstock agreement

Tampa, Fla.-based Legacy Oil Florida, a wholly owned subsidiary of Renew Energy Resources Inc., has signed an agreement with EnerSight Fuels Inc. in Huntsville, Ala., in which EnerSight will supply waste vegetable oil as a feedstock for Legacy Oil's proposed 2.5 MMgy biodiesel plant. The location and process technology for the plant had yet to be determined at press time. Renew Energy Resources said it anticipates the plant to be operational during the second quarter of 2009. Legacy Oil also plans to build a 5 MMgy biodiesel plant in New York City.
