In cooperation with the Mineral Oil and Fuels Standardization Committee within DIN (FAM), the Association Quality Management Biodiesel e. V. (AGQM) is again organizing a round robin test for biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel.
The leading companies of the German biodiesel industry are members of AGQM, an organization founded by this industry. As a technical association, AGQM predominantly deals with all issues concerning the quality management of biodiesel.
The analysis of components and the final product forms a major part of the quality assurance of fuels. Therefore, reliable monitoring and testing of the product properties of biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel is an essential aspect of its quality management. The participation in round robin tests is thereby an important instrument for laboratories to control and improve the standard obtained.

Since 2008, AGQM and FAM conduct once a year their international round robin test for biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel. All interested laboratories (at company sites, contractors, research) dealing with the analysis of biodiesel and rapeseed oil fuel are invited to participate. In 2015, a total of 55 laboratories from Germany, Europe, South America and New Zealand took part, which makes the AGQM/FAM round robin test the largest regular event of its kind worldwide.
Interested laboratories can register by April 24 by clicking here. More information about the round robin test is available on AGQM’s homepage or can be requested by e-mail.
