Norway to implement biofuel mandate for aviation fuel in 2020


Norway is taking action to require the use of renewable aviation fuel. On Oct. 4, the country's Ministry of Climate and Environment announced it will require aviation fuel to contain at least 0.5 percent advanced biofuel starting in 2020.

Keystone Biofuels director pleads guilty to biodiesel tax fraud


David Tielle, business development director of Pennsylvania-based Keystone Biofuels, pleaded guilty Oct. 3 in federal court to one count of conspiring to defraud the IRS, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. He faces five years in prison.
