Independence Renewable Energy Corp. (IREC) has named Arick Rynearson the vice president and general manager of biodiesel operations at its facility in Perdue Hill, Ala. Rynearson has 14 years experience in business development and marketing, and recently earned a Master of Business Administration degree at Seattle (Wash.) University. He also earned a graduate certificate in sustainable business development from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute. Rynearson will be headquartered in the Mobile, Ala., area and maintain a significant presence at the company's biodiesel operations.
