MSE Enviro-Tech signs biodiesel supply deal with Wardlaw Fuels
Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario-based MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. has signed a two-year agreement with fuel and oil delivery service firm Wardlaw Fuels for the supply of biodiesel blends to the Transit Commission of the City of Sault Ste. Marie for its entire fleet of buses.
Under the agreement, Wardlaw Fuels will pick up biodiesel from MSE Enviro-Tech and SITTM Technologies’ facility in Sault Ste. Marie and blend it with petroleum diesel to make B5 to B20 blends, depending on seasonal constraints. MSE Enviro-Tech acquired SITTM Technologies Inc. in February of last year.
“We are delighted to be able to continue to provide our home municipality with biodiesel, now working in collaboration with Wardlaw Fuels,” said Norman Jaehrling, CEO of MSE Enviro-Tech. “We expect to roll out similar arrangements with other communities and organizations who share the city of Sault Ste. Marie’s commitment to the environment later in 2012.”
One of MSE Enviro-Tech’s core business lines includes the sourcing and distribution of biodiesel by establishing collaborative arrangements with distributors of petroleum products, such as Wardlaw Fuels, to provide biodiesel blends to public and private customers.
