Pacific Biodiesel fuel sales manager wins 2012 SMEI award
Pacific Biodiesel Fuel Sales Manager Jenna Long was the winner of the 2012 Sales & Marketing Executives International Honolulu Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award Competition in the Green Services Category. As fuel sales manager for Pacific Biodiesel, Long has expanded Pacific Biodiesel’s customer base with her technical knowledge, her understanding of client needs and her commitment to both recycling and clean energy. She has formed strong relationships within Hawaii's fuel distributors and the state's military community as they work toward fuel security for the Islands. Long also works with county governments and local businesses to facilitate biodiesel blends in their fleet fuels.
Later this year, when Big Island Biodiesel ramps up production, Pacific Biodiesel will increase its Hawaii production capacity to more than 5 MMgy. Long has an expanding list of clients looking forward to fueling with biodiesel and contributing to a cleaner environment. Long is a board member for Honolulu Clean Cities, Recycle Hawaii and the Sustainable Association of Hawaii. She is currently working towards her Masters in Business Administration.
