Air-quality Permit Issued for Moses Lake Ethanol Plant

The Washington Department of Ecology issued an air-quality permit to Pacific Rim Ethanol LLC, which plans to build an ethanol plant near Moses Lake, Wash., The Associated Press reported Sept. 4. The $122 million plant would produce 40 mmgy of ethanol from wheat and barley at an old sugar beet factory three miles east of Moses Lake.
