DSE A/S, a technology company based in Horsens, Denmark, has established a new business division. DSE Global Product Division (GPD) was created as part of the company's growth strategy.

According to DSE, the goal of GPD will be to increase the company's focus on biomass and enameled wire, which were previously part of DSE's Test Technology Division. DSE hopes the new division will drive continued success on export markets and the development of new products.

"We believe the new organization structure will help DSE elevate to a new level on our export markets and contribute to continued growth," said Peder Lomborg, DSE vice director of business development.

Jorgen Kjaersgaard, who has worked with DSE for 10 years, has been appointed Division Manager for the new business division. "Within biomass there is high focus on carbon dioxide-neutral energy sources at the moment – not only in Denmark but in the whole of Europe, where we see a massive interest for building power stations based on biomass fuel," Kjaersgaard said. "Denmark has been a pioneer in this area, where DSE has supplied moisture measurement systems to the Danish power stations. Therefore, we see a good opportunity for selling our moisture measurement systems to many of the new export markets around Europe."
