EIA data show increase in biofuel consumption


Data released by the Energy Information Administration demonstrate that biofuel consumption increased eight-fold, or 800 percent, from 2000 to 2010. The U.S. consumed more than 235 trillion Btu of biofuel in 2000 vs. almost 2 quadrillion Btu in 2010.
