3 more international airlines hold biojet demonstrations


It has been a big week for the biobased aviation fuel industry, with three airlines holding biojet demonstration flights. Porter Airlines, All Nippon Airways and Qantas all successfully demonstrated the use of biobased jet fuel in their aircraft.

Imperial Petroleum CEO resigns, e-Biofuels files bankruptcy


Imperial Petroleum Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary e-Biofuels LLC recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana. CEO and Chief Financial Officer Timothy Jones also resigned this month.
