Biodiesel supporters to voice RFS concerns with EPA

September US biodiesel imports up, exports down from August


U.S. imports of biomass-based diesel in September nearly doubled August volumes, according to the latest figures from the Energy Information Administration. U.S. exports of biomass-based diesel, however, fell significantly in September from August.

German biodiesel exports up this year; EU countries absorb most


German biodiesel exports have rocketed this year. The German Federal Statistical Office puts foreign sales between January and September 2013 at 1.1 million metric tons (330 million gallons), almost 14 percent up on the same period in 2012.
