Springboard Biodiesel donates processor to nonprofit organization


Springboard Biodiesel has donated a BioPro 380 processing unit to the Center for Sustainable Energy Farming, a Torrance, Calif.-based nonprofit research organization. The BioPro 380 can make 100 gallons of biodiesel in 48 hours from a variety of FOG.

Iowa Senate shows overwhelming, bipartisan support for biofuels


The IRFA commended the Iowa Senate for voting unanimously (48-0) to pass Senate File 2344, showing tremendous, bipartisan support for renewable fuels. The bill would extend the state's biodiesel production tax credit set to expire by end of year.
