Former ABO executive director Mary Rosenthal dies Mary Rosenthal, the first executive director of the Algae Biomass Organization, died Nov. 1 after her battle with cancer. Rosenthal became executive director of the ABO in 2009 and was considered the voice of the algae industry by many. READ MORE SHARE
Solenis awarded patent for use of chemicals in DCO extraction Solenis has received a patent for the use of chemical additives to improve the separation of distillers corn oil (DCO) at ethanol plants. Solenis says its additives can help capture up to three times more oil than methods without its chemicals. READ MORE SHARE
