RSB-certified North African biodiesel producer to double capacity


Recently certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials, Ben Arous, Tunisia-based Biodex-sa told Biodiesel Magazine that the company plans to double production capacity from 2.1 MMgy to 4.2 MMgy by the second half of this year.

Strong demand for German biodiesel continued in 2015

REG closes acquisition of Sanimax biodiesel plant


Renewable Energy Group Inc. completed its acquisition March 15 of Sanimax Energy's 20 MMgy biodiesel refinery located in DeForest, Wisconsin, the company announced March 16. REG paid Sanimax $11 million in cash and 500,000 shares of its common stock.
