World Energy acquires 72 MMgy biodiesel plant in Mississippi World Energy announced Aug. 31 that it has acquired Elevance Natchez Inc.'s 72 MMgy biodiesel refinery located on the Mississippi River in Natchez, Mississippi. 	REG Geismar pays off $100 million GOZone bonds ahead of maturity REG announced the redemption in full of the $100 million GOZone bonds ahead of their 2033 maturity date. Germany's biodiesel trade gap narrows as imports up, exports down German exports are down by about a fifth in the first half of 2016 compared to the same time period last year, while imports reached 390,000 tons (117.1 million gallons), a 46 percent jump over to the first half of 2015, according to Germany's UFOP. Biox announces closing of CAD$1.8 million credit facility Biox Corp. announced that in connection with its acquisition earlier this year of a 50 million liter per year (13.2 MMgy) biodiesel facility in Sombra, Ontario, the company has obtained a CAD$1.8 million credit facility from Farm Credit Canada.
