UK biodiesel maker Greenergy no longer suspect in investigation

U.K.-based biodiesel producer and midstream oil company Greenergy announced Dec. 11 that the U.K.’s Serious Fraud Office has advised that the company and its employees are no longer suspects in an ongoing investigation first announced in May.

Evonik to expand sodium methylate capacity in Rosario, Argentina

Chemical company Evonik will increase its production capacity for the biodiesel catalyst sodium methylate at its Rosario/Santa Fe facility in Argentina from 60,000 to 90,000 metric tons. The increased capacity will be built out in two stages.
