Vancouver, British Columbia-based Canadian Bioenergy Corp. has announced that it was granted BQ-9000 status by the National Biodiesel Board and its Canadian counterpart Canadian Renewable Fuels Association.
The BQ-9000 program is a voluntary fuel quality program intended to promote biodiesel by producing and bringing biodiesel to the market that consistently meets ASTM standards. Certified marketers, such as Canadian Bioenergy, and accredited producers qualify for the program by demonstrating adherence to ASTM standards through quality control systems including storage, sampling, testing, blending, shipping, distribution and fuel management.
