Aemetis Inc., an RNG and renewable fuels company focused on negative carbon intensity products, has announced an updated five-year plan that projects the company will generate $1.95 billion in revenues and $645 million of adjusted EBITDA in 2028.
Cepsa and Bio-Oils, a subsidiary of Apical, are beginning construction of the largest second-generation biofuels plant in southern Europe. The facility will have the flexibly produce 500,000 tons of SAF and renewable diesel.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration currently expects renewable diesel production to increase by approximately 30% annually in both 2024 and 2025, according to the agency’s latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, released Feb. 6.
Neste and Amelia, a French regional airline, have closed an agreement for the supply of blended Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Amelia has been using the SAF for all its flights departing from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol since Jan. 1.
In 2023, Iowa biodiesel production kept steady at 350 million gallons, nearly the same as the 349 million gallons produced in 2022. Soybean oil increased to 77 percent of the feedstock for Iowa biodiesel production during the year.
