October 13, 2006

Iowa Gov. Tim Vilsack recently announced 11 members of the state's recently formed Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Board, created earlier this year when Iowa's biofuels policy and appropriations bills were passed. The committee is charged with expanding the state renewable fuels infrastructure by appropriating a $13 million fund over the next three years for E85 service stations, biodiesel terminal facilities and other items that make biofuels more available to Iowans.
