Florida Biodiesel completes processor sale to Miss. high school
Clearwater, Fla.-based Florida Biodiesel Inc. recently completed the sale of a B-60 biodiesel processor, made by 70centsagallon.com, to Oxford High School in Oxford, Miss. The biodiesel production equipment will be used to demonstrate green fuel technology on campus.
Florida Biodiesel says the B-60 biodiesel processor requires only one hour of assembly time and can produce 45-gallon batches of biodiesel.
“The students will process the oil they collect from the cafeteria into biodiesel fuel for use in campus vehicles,” said Victor Garlington, director of client services at 70CentsaGallon.com. “The B-60 is very user friendly and great for students to learn biodiesel basics.”
According to Florida Biodiesel’s website, the B-60 biodiesel processor sells for just over $2,000 and includes a 60-gallon reaction/separation/wash tank, a-15 gallon methoxide mix tank, a 330 gph heavy-duty biodiesel mixing pump, SS temperature gauge, an external heat exchanger, a cyclonic mixer, a hardware installation kit, digital pH meter and digital scales and a safety kit with goggles, an apron and gloves.
