US EPA extends 2013 RFS compliance, attest deadlines again
The U.S. EPA has again extended the deadlines for annual compliance and attest engagement reports for the 2013 compliance period under the renewable fuel standard (RFS) program. Announced on July 31, the new deadline for 2013 annual compliance reports is 30 days after publication of the final rule establishing the 2014 renewable fuel percentage standards for cellulosic biofuel, biomass-based diesel, advanced biofuel and total renewable fuel. The new deadline for attest engagement reports is 90 days after publication of the 2014 final rule. This is the third time EPA has extended the 2013 reporting deadlines for RFS.
