AGQM issues quality check material for pharmaceutical glycerin
Germany’s biodiesel quality management association AGQM announced it has extended its product range of reference material, now offering quality check (QC) material for pharmaceutical glycerin (PhGly).
Since late 2011, AGQM has distributed QC material for determination of oxidation stability. The organization also provides QC material for methanol content as well as a multireference standard for several parameters in the European biodiesel standard EN 14214.
The new QC material offering for PhGly can be used internally to check various analysis methods for glycerin from the European Pharmacopeia such as glycerin and water content, along with additional standard methods such as color via EN ISO 6271-2.
The QC materials are produced by Analytik-Service Gesellschaft mbH and specified by qualified laboratories in round robin tests.
