World Energy opens new office, hires sales director

World Energy Alternatives LLC opened its new Upper Midwest sales office in St. Paul, Minn. The facility will serve areas in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Larry Sullivan will oversee the new regional sales operation as Upper Midwest director of sales. He joined World Energy on Sept. 27. Sullivan previously worked for Minneapolis, Minn.-based Crown Iron Works, where he developed strategies for its biodiesel business.
