MnSP receive energy grant

Minnesota Soybean Processors (MnSP), which operates a 30 MMgy biodiesel plant in Brewster, Minn., has received a $26,000 energy conservation grant from its utility provider, Nobles Cooperative Electric, for installing and using high-efficient lighting, motors and adjustable speed drives. A spokesman for the power supplier said the efficiencies will save the biodiesel plant $16,000 per year. This is the second grant that MnSP has received from Nobles in the past two years.
