Beatrice Biodiesel selects Axens Esterfip-H Technology

A proposed 50 MMgy biodiesel plant to be built in Beatrice, Neb., has selected Esterfip-H technology developed by Axens North America as its process technology. Beatrice Biodiesel LLC will use soy oil as a feedstock and is scheduled for start-up in 2007. Beatrice Biodiesel is a subsidiary of U.S. Biofuels Inc., which is owned by Australian Ethanol Limited. Axens IFP, based in Rueil-Malmaison, France, provides technologies, catalysts and services to the hydrocarbon industries.
