ADM executives retire, successeion steps underway

Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) has announced succession-planning steps to replace long-time company CEO and Chairman G. Allen Andreas, as well as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Paul B. Mulhollem. ADM Senior Vice President Martin Andreas also recently announced his retirement.
With Mulhollem departing immediately, G. Allen Andreas will temporarily assume the duties of both president and COO. He is developing a succession plan for this newly created dual position, and candidates will be sought from within and outside the company. After a new top executive is hired, Andreas will remain at ADM as chairman of the board.
