BBI's Damman named vice president of international business development

BBI International Inc., based in Salida, Colo., has announced that Angela Damman is now the vice president of international business development, a newly created position. She will oversee global expansion for the company and develop new business for BBI's service areas including project development, conferences and events, media and publications. To date, BBI's international expansion includes opening full offices in Kitchener, Ontario, and Brisbane, Australia.

Previously, Damman was the vice president of conference and events for BBI, focusing on ethanol, biodiesel, energy, agriculture and environmental industry development projects in many regions of the world, including China, India, Europe, Canada, and South America, as well as over 30 states in the United States.

Prior to joining BBI International, Angela worked on renewable energy-related projects for the Department of Energy Great Lakes Regional Biomass Energy Program, the Wisconsin Energy Bureau and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. She also served as a board member for the Midwest Renewable Energy Association.

Damman has a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in international studies from the University of Wisconsin and has participated in a graduate studies special enrollment at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, College of Natural Resources.
