Blue Sun Biodiesel announces hires, milestones, delays

Golden, Colo.-based Blue Sun Biodiesel LLC recently appointed Michael Miller to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer. Miller garnered 30 years of experience in the fuels and lubricant sectors at BP Corp., Castrol Ltd., PepsiCo. and Ford Motor Co.
In other news, in early April, Blue Sun Biodiesel closed on an unsecured $3 million loan, which will ensure the company's production of B100. Earlier in the year, Blue Sun delayed start-up of its Clovis, N.M., plant, which was under construction.
