Biox Corp., which owns and operates a 67 MMly (17.7 MMgy) biodiesel manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Ontario, has appointed Alan Rickard as its new CEO. Effective Nov. 2, Rickard will succeed Chris Clinning as Biox's chief executive. Clinning resigned “to pursue other interests,” the company stated.

Rickard comes to Biox from Canadian rendering and biodiesel-producing company, Rothsay, now a division of Darling International Canada Inc., where his most recent role was vice president of commercial operations.

“I have had the pleasure of working closely with the executive team at Biox as a customer and look forward to this opportunity to join them and working with the board of directors in this leadership role,” Rickard said.
