Davco Technology offers heated biodiesel filters

Davco Technology LLC is producing a heated filtration system compatible with biodiesel. The Model 234 is a patented device that filters and heats fuel, separates water and provides a visual indication of when the fuel filter needs to be changed, according to Davco President Nick Vermet. He said the biodiesel-compatible units have stronger heaters and upgraded seals. Compared with conventional products, Davco's system can extend the fuel filter's life by two to five times, Vermet said.
