Hartwig joins RFA

The Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) has hired Matt Hartwig as communications director. He succeeds Monte Shaw, who joined the Iowa RFA as executive director. Most recently, Hartwig worked as assistant media director for the Consumers Union in Washington, D.C. He was also a democratic communications director for the Senate Agriculture Committee. Hartwig received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
