Some unique educational presentations, aside from the tracks and sessions highlighted in the rest of this magazine, were the pre-conference sessions. Leland Tong, chairman of the National Biodiesel Accreditation Commission, led an information session on the voluntary quality control program, BQ-9000. "Train the Trainer," or Biodiesel 101, was put on by NBB staff members for those seeking the basics on biodiesel. A standing-room-only session on biodiesel plant feasibility, "Making the Right Decision," was provided by Marc-IV Consulting. Companies and individuals interested in NBB membership were presented a membership overview by NBB Director of Operations Donnell Rehagen.
