Thomas (Mac) McDaniel will become managing director of Delta-T Corp. on Sept. 15, according to parent company Bateman Litwin NV. He will also assume the duties of managing director of Bateman Litwin's North and South American divisions.
McDaniel will replace Delta-T Chief Executive Officer Les Ward who has stepped down. Delta-T was recently thrust into the spotlight by the lawsuit Bateman Litwin filed against former Delta-T owners Bibb and Rob Swain. Mark Shmorhun, vice president of business development for Delta-T/Bateman Litwin, said the leadership change is helping the company to move on from that controversy.
McDaniel, an industry veteran with 25 years of experience, will focus initially on the successful completion of all existing Delta-T contracts, as well as improving and expanding its operating capabilities. McDaniel previously was employed by oilfield services company Schlumberger Ltd. in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, where he was responsible for more than 150 clients worldwide.
