Nova Energy Holding launched

June 1, 2006

Nova Energy Holding Inc. was formed through a series of mergers this spring. The publicly traded company bought Nova Oil Inc. on March 31 and converted it to a biodiesel production company. It had previously merged with Biosource America, which patented technology that enables biodiesel facilities to process up to 25 different feedstocks without losing uptime in the transfer.

The mergers also put two biodiesel facilities-Anamax Energy Services in DeForest, Wis. (20 MMgy), and Clinton County Bio Energy in Clinton, Iowa (10 MMgy)-under Nova Energy Holding. Both will go on line in July.

The company also entered into a $12.5 million joint venture agreement with Scott Petroleum Corp. to construct a 20 MMgy facility in Greenville, Miss., which is slated to break ground in June.
