California-based biotechnology company
EdeniQ Inc. has appointed Larry Peckous as vice president of sales.
Peckous, a 28-year veteran of the starch-processing and biofuels industries, has held senior management positions focused on improving biorefining plant efficiencies, as well as marketing and implementing enzyme and fermentation technologies. Most recently, he was principal scientist for Novozymes in China.
This spring, EdeniQ plans to launch a service which will aid biofuel producers in increasing ethanol yields through a combination of biological and mechanical processes.
"I have a real passion for engineering that improves financial performance," Peckous said. "EdeniQ's soon-to-be-launched productivity services are in the 'sweet spot' where a well-engineered process can lead to game-changing economic results."
