Production begins at second ABG facility

Australian Biodiesel Group Limited (ABG) announced that production began at a more than 42 MMgy biodiesel plant located in a suburb of Brisbane, Australia. The Narangba Production Facility is the largest operational biodiesel plant in Australia, according to Brian Stewart, ABG corporate affairs manager. Animal fat is its main feedstock. The company also operates a 10.5 MMgy biodiesel plant north of Sydney. ABG is currently working on project proposals in the United States and Canada, Stewart said.
