Vertically integrated renewable energy company, Pure Power Global has announced it will locate its operation headquarters in Singapore, where it will drive an aggressive acquisition program and the deployment of its renewable energy solutions into worldwide markets.

Pure Power builds, operates and owns interests in a global network of renewable energy businesses producing sustainable energy, biofuels, and bioproducts for world markets.

Pure Power officials say Singapore was selected because of its geographical proximity to key markets, access to capital markets, highly developed infrastructure, tax and regulatory environment and its focus on developing renewable energy.

"The world's demand for energy is growing rapidly, even as the supply of fossil fuels stagnates," Pure Power Chairman and Chief Executive David Milroy said. "According to the International Energy Agency, the global demand for energy will grow by 57 percent from now until 2030, with two-thirds of the increase coming from developing countries such as China and India. And by 2010 the demand from developing countries will exceed that of industrialised countries. This leads to an ever-increasing demand for alternative forms of energy to address the deficit between current supplies and future requirements. Pure Power is meeting the global need for clean, sustainable, renewable energy by applying new, disruptive technologies to close the energy gap," Milroy said.
