Redfield Energy LLC, a 50 MMgy ethanol plant in Redfield, S.D., declared a 10-cent-per-unit distribution for members on record as of Oct. 31. Redfield Energy has been operating since April 2007. The company has more than 600 members that hold approximately 20 million units.

"The RE employees, with the assistance of the Glacial Lakes Energy LLC management team, have worked diligently over the past year to make RE as profitable and efficient as possible," said Redfield Energy Chief Executive Officer Tom Branhan. "We are very pleased that after six months of operation we are able to return more than $2 million to our members. That is impressive in today's challenging business climate."
