Richard "Hardy" Sawall, senior vice president of Midwest operations for Innovation Fuels, has been appointed to the board of the Wisconsin Biodiesel Association. WBA is a membership trade organization promoting the commercial development, production, marketing, distribution, and utilization of biodiesel and other renewable biofuels.

"It's an honor to welcome Hardy to the board," said Tony Hartmann, president of WBA. "We know that with his track record in our region, he will help us accomplish a great many things in the emerging biofuels industry."

The WBA supports renewable biofuels as an effective means of promoting the United States' energy independence and domestic economy, as well as improving air quality and reducing the impact on climate change.
