The Wisconsin Biodiesel Association appointed Richard "Hardy" Sawall to vice president of the association on Sept. 8. Sawall is a professional engineer and senior vice president of Midwest operations for Innovation Fuels Inc.
"We greatly value Hardy as a member of the board and are very happy that he has accepted his new position," Tony Hartmann, president of the WBA, said in a press release. He could not be reached for further comment.
The WBA held its third-quarter meeting on Sept. 16 in Milwaukee, Wis., at the Port of Milwaukee's administrative offices. Hosts for the WBA's meeting include the Port of Milwaukee and Innovation Fuels. According to a WBA press release, Port of Milwaukee and Innovation Fuels have teamed up to provide supply-chain infrastructure for biofuels into and out of the Midwest.
Sawall, who was the featured presenter, updated attendees on Innovation Fuels' work to connect Wisconsin biofuels with the rest of the world.
