Western North Dakota project moving forward

Plans for a Williston, N.D., ethanol plant are moving forward with financing nearly confirmed, according to the head of Williston Economic Development Tom Rolfstad. Rolfstad told EPM a construction date hadn't been set yet, but a site had been proposed in Williston's Industrial Park. Makad Corporation of Oregon will join Delta-T and Monsanto Enviro-Chem in the construction process, Rolfstad said. Another proposed project in North Aulich of the Energy and Environmental Research Center. The Coalition's vote to send the invitations to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif., and Gov. Phil Bredesen, D-Tenn., is on the GEC agenda for its meeting Nov. 12-13 in Grand Forks, N.D. Tennessee, with its A.E. Staley plant, is among the top 10 ethanol-producing states that aren't members.
