Novacool is UL Classified as a firefighting foam under NFPA 18, is made from organic surfactants - NO PFOS/PFOAs and works on Classes A,B,D,K at a maximum mix rate of 0.5%. Extinguishes polar solvent fires by rapidly absorbing the heat, not suffocating the fire. Novacool works through emulsification to extinguish fire and suppress vapors, consistently outperforming new fluorine-free foams and other wetting agents. Will also extinguish Class A fires resulting from Class B fire and can be used as a cooling agent to prevent combustion.
