Companies partner to create Biofuel Namibia

The North Dakota Fire Marshal's office has completed its investigation into the cause of an August fire at the All-American Biodiesel production facility in York, N.D. Deputies completed the state's investigation Sept. 9 and ruled the cause of the fire was accidental.READ MORE

Tellurian, Golden State Foods open terminal

Los Angeles-based Tellurian Biodiesel Inc., a marketer and distributor of biodiesel, has announced plans to open a biodiesel distribution terminal in late September near downtown Los Angeles. NBB urges Congress to extend tax incentives

If Congress allows biodiesel tax incentives to lapse, the industry will suffer a devastating setback, according to Manning Feraci, vice president of federal affairs for the National Biodiesel Board. Feraci testified Sept. 11 before the U.S. House Committee on Small Business. The biodiesel tax incentive is set to expire Dec. 31.READ MORE

WASDE: Global oilseed production to set record

The Sept. 12 USDA World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report lowered its projections for the U.S. soybean crop by 39 million bushels, down to 2.93 billion bushels, but projected the global soybean crop will hit a record 238 million tons.READ MORE
