EU member states increase biofuel blending quotas


Several member states in the European Union have increased their national biofuel blending obligations this year compared with 2010 on the basis of energy content. UFOP says while biodiesel consumption will rise, idled capacity will still exist.

Company adds blending infrastructure in Minnesota


A new fuel terminal in the Minneapolis metro area will offer biodiesel-blended fuels. The Rosemount Clean Energies facility, which sits on a 50-acre industrial site, will offer biofuel injection blending. The state will soon mandate B10 usage.
