New Mexico producer awarded Rural Development grant

A criminal information was filed Oct. 3 charging Rodney R. Hailey, age 33, of Perry Hall, Md., with wire fraud, money laundering and a violation of the Clean Air Act, in connection with a scheme in which he allegedly sold $9 million in RIN credits.

National Research Council issues 'discouraging' RFS2 report

A report produced by the National Research Council at the request of Congress claims the U.S. is likely to be unable to meet some specific biofuel mandates under RFS2 unless polices are changed or new innovative technologies are developed.
