Largest US biodiesel producer REG reports Q2 financial results Renewable Energy Group Inc.'s revenues for Q2 2014 were $332.9 million. Kan. ethanol plant to co-locate renewable diesel facility on-site East Kansas Agri-Energy plans to integrate renewable diesel production at its ethanol plant in Garnett, Kan., using distillers corn oil and other feedstocks, the company announced late July. SG Preston to build 120 MMgy renewable diesel plant in Ohio SG Preston is planning to build a 120 MMgy renewable diesel facility in in Lawrence County, Ohio. The SGP South Point facility, expected to be complete in 2017, will cost $400 million and create 100 permanent jobs. Pre-engineering begins next month. READ MORE SHARE
Int'l commercial flight completed with Amyris-Total biojet fuel On July 30, Amyris partnered with Brazilian airline GOL to fly the industry's first commercial flight with farnesane, the recently approved renewable jet fuel.
