EPA proposes distillers sorghum oil as advanced biofuel feedstock


The U.S. EPA has released a notice of proposed rulemaking related to fuel pathways using distillers sorghum oil as feedstock for advanced biofuel production, including biodiesel. A 30-day comment period on the proposal is set to close Jan. 26.

German biodiesel exports stepped up first 9 months of 2017


Between January and September 2017, German biodiesel exports climbed around 11 percent to 1.16 million metric tons, or 348 million gallons. Roughly 94 percent was shipped to EU-28 countries. This was up 16 percent from the previous year.
